Unmanned Systems Exhibition & Conference (UMEX) consolidates as the only event in the Middle East dedicated specifically to unmanned aerial systems
Aertec, an international company specializing in aerospace technology, is once again participating in one more edition, this time the 5th, of the Unmanned Systems Exhibition & Conference (UMEX), the only one specializing in unmanned aerial systems in the Middle East.
UMEX is held from February 21 to 23 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center, in a space of more than 25,000 m2, where exhibitors from all over the world come together to show the latest developments in the UAS market.
Aertec is one of the 4 Spanish companies participating in this international event, in which its TARSIS 75 fixed-wing aerial platform will be exhibited, with a wingspan of more than five meters and a MTOW of 75 kilograms, for which Aertec is the design authority and manufacturer.
This high-performance unmanned aircraft is exhibited at UMEX armed with integrated laser-guided A-Fox air-to-ground micro-missiles and with the laser designation capability, unique in UAS in its segment. The TARSIS 75 allows for different configurations and missions, and is designed for observation and surveillance applications for both civil and military environments.
Aertec also brings to UMEX its complete portfolio of advanced solutions, developed with 100% Spanish technology, for the fields of guidance, communications and RPAS architecture, such as its ground control, navigation and guidance system (GCS), the simulation of UAS and high-tech sensors.
The UAS market in the Middle East has great growth potential, and it is one of the scenarios in which Aertec operates, not only in this sector, but also in the area of airport consulting and engineering. For this, it has had a commercial office in Abu Dhabi since 2019.
