Aerópolis was once again the center of these conferences, already in face-to-face format

The Andalusian Knowledge Agency (AAC), in collaboration with the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI), Aerópolis, the Andalusia Aerospace Cluster and the Andalusian OTRI Network, have held a Conference to present in Andalusia the 2022 calls for Mobility of the Cluster 5 of Horizon Europe (Pillar II) and the new institutional partnerships related to this topic (Europe’s Rail, Clean Aviation and Sesar 3).

The information on these calls was presented by Juan Francisco Reyes, CDTI’s National Contact Point (NCP) for this Program. They also had the presence of Teresa Serrano, general director of Research and Knowledge Transfer of the Regional Ministry of Economic Transformation, Industry, Knowledge and Universities, and Juan Román Gallego, managing director of Andalucía Aerospace.

Likewise, Antonio Hernández, from Airbus, Fernando Ferrández, from ENAIRE and Noemí Jiménez from Cemosa presented the results of the institutional partnerships in Horizon 2020 (the predecessor program of the current Horizon Europe), Clean Sky 2, Shift2Rail and SESAR2020.

Mobility is one of the priority areas of Cluster 5 of Horizon Europe (Pillar II). Through this area, the European Union intends to contribute to the fulfillment of the commitments of the Paris Agreement through a just transition towards a climate-neutral and resilient economy and society, with an efficient use of resources, achieving greater industrial competitiveness in transport, new clean, safe and intelligent transportation and mobility systems, as well as energy storage.

Attendees with a proposal were able to hold meetings to review their project ideas with NCP Juan Francisco Reyes. Participants were also given the opportunity to meet with the rest of the speakers at the end of the day.
