Aertec partners with another leading Airbus supplier, Tech Mahindra, pooling their capabilities and expertise in aerospace and digital engineering
Aertec, an international company specializing in aerospace technology, has been selected by Airbus as a strategic supplier of engineering services, together with the Indian multinational Tech Mahindra.
The design engineering, manufacturing engineering and EMES3 customer service supplier selection process, promoted by the Airbus Group, has been resolved with the choice, among others, of this technological alliance of companies as a strategic supplier, with which both international companies unite their capabilities and specialization in aerospace and digital engineering.
Aertec and Tech Mahindra will support Airbus’ aeronautical programs in all its divisions, subsidiaries and affiliates, adding to the engineering services that they already provide through the work centers that both companies have in multiple countries.
This contract culminates a long and exhaustive selection process for Airbus, based on the assessment of technical capabilities, the existence of a global infrastructure, flexibility and a quality audit.
For Antonio Gómez-Guillamón, CEO and founder of Aertec “the achievement of this new milestone is for Aertec the best recognition of the years of experience in different engineering services provided to one of the most important clients in the aerospace sector. We are very proud of our work and of being able to continue accompanying Airbus as a strategic main supplier in the challenges of the sector for the coming years”.
“We are very satisfied with this selection -says Ángel Lucena, Director of Aerospace Business Development at Aertec, which is a recognition of the more than 20 years of continuous collaboration and commitment with the Airbus Group, a success story that began for us as a supplier local industry and that has led us to become a strategic engineering services partner with a global footprint. We are sure that the Aertec-Tech Mahindra alliance will allow us to open new avenues of collaboration in the sector”.
